Hi there!

My name is Dave Betts, and I have the privilege of being a lead Elder here at Centre Church.

I'd love to invite you to our launch Sunday on Easter Sunday 2025.

I don't know your story; I don't know where you're at. But here's what I do know:

I know that God loves you more than you can possibly imagine, and whether you've called yourself a Christian your entire life or you've never had anything to do with him before, we would love to invite you to come on a journey with us here at Centre Church.

You see, we're a small, but growing Church community with this passionate belief that God is doing something really exciting really amazing in our midst. We're not striving to be the flashiest or the fanciest or the most entertaining place around.

All that stuff's fine but actually, we believe that we're called to focus on two things:

1) We want to give our incredible God the worship that he rightfully deserves.

2) We want to do our very best to be the most loving community that we can possibly be. Why? Because we believe that there is no organization, no institution, and no community that can possibly rival the community of Jesus's church when we dive head first into all that he's calling us to be when we truly celebrate the wonder of his good news!

If you join us here at Center Church Red Deer here's what you're going to find:

• You're going to find an authentic, genuinely warm welcome from some of the loveliest people I know; people that I call really close friends. We started Centre Church Red Deer with this incredible Core group of people that we just love to do life with.

• You're going to find people who are excited to worship alongside you people who would love to hear your story - your unique story.

• You're going to find people that you can do life with.

• You're going to find a church Community passionate about exploring the Bible together and and not shying away from the difficult parts, but leaning into them.

• You're going to find a church with a passion to love God, love people and to serve the city in Jesus' name. A people who are longing to see a 100 people come to know Jesus by the end of 2030, because we feel like God has called us to.

Whether you want to come along with some tricky questions, or whether you have the abilities to help us push forward this expression of God's church together, you're welcome with us - we'd love for you to join us on this adventure!

Maybe you've never been to a church before. If that's the case, we'd love to meet you, too! If you have questions that's great. I hope you would have questions! I was 19 when I got saved and I had tons of questions!

I want to know what's on your mind - if you want to see what a church is all about come and visit you're so welcome to join us and just come along for a Sunday.

Here's what you can expect:

We will usually sing for around 30 minutes. We're singing In worship to God, and then we'll look at a section of the Bible together and see what we can learn from this incredible wisdom. before praying together for a few minutes.

On the first Sunday of every month, by the way, we'll have this giant potluck feast where everyone brings something and we just have this incredible meal together.
